Job Summary
Robotics and Digital Solutions (RDS) Division of The Hillman Group has an opening for a Full‑Time Field Service Technician in the Bend and Redmond, OR area. You would begin your career with RDS as a Kiosk Technician, training on key duplicating (Minute Key), tag engraving (Quick Tag) kiosks as well as third‑party service (Eco‑ATM, Pokémon).
The territory consists of 20 kiosks and the number of hours per week is approximately 10 to 15. This is an hourly route with an estimated pay of $21‑24 an hour based on experience
. Car allowance will be provided, along with cell‑phone reimbursement and a corporate gas card for business miles.
- Re‑stock and perform routine service on kiosks as needed (determined by demand at the machine or schedule).
- Perform on‑call repairs or adjustments to the machine when the machine goes out of order.
- Install new kiosks or replace existing ones in the local area.
- Monitor machines daily for issues and contact stores to resolve connectivity or power problems.
- Keep track of inventory for re‑stocking machines in Kiosk Technician possession.
- Grow revenue in the territory by optimizing machine locations, uptime, product mix, store relationships, etc.

Education & Experience- High School Diploma or GED.
- Background in electromechanical repair and maintenance (preferred).
- Prior experience in retail merchandising, field operations and customer service (preferred).
- A minimum of 1‑3 years of experience in a similar profile (preferred).
- Experience with tools and troubleshooting mechanical problems.
- Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English, including technical jargon.
- Computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to always represent Hillman professionally.
- Ability to work weekends when required.
- Must have an excellent driving record with a valid driver’s license; a clean driving record is mandatory. Major driving violations will eliminate potential candidates.
- Must have reliable transportation with automobile insurance (mileage reimbursement).
- Must have a reliable cell phone (reimbursed).
Sales/Service:
Environment varies due to location/store set‑up. May be exposed to cramped quarters, dust, fumes, or odors. Travel required daily; may have to drive up to 200 miles daily. Hand/eye coordination required. Functional vision and hearing required.
Sales/Service:
Medium. Lifting up to 30 lbs., occasionally pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs.
