Base pay range
$32.00/hr - $42.00/hr

Duration: 12 months
Job Description:
The Support Engineer will support the assembly and testing of propulsion systems and subsystems in a fast-paced production environment. This role works closely with cross‑functional engineering teams to ensure quality, efficiency, and on‑time delivery of production hardware.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, build, and test propulsion systems and subsystems per engineering drawings and work instructions
- Manage turnaround time at assigned workstations
- Follow quality control standards and document QC activities, calibrations, and maintenance
- Identify and resolve build or test issues or escalate as needed
- Support process improvement activities
- Participate in daily stand‑ups, shift handoffs, and end‑of‑shift reporting
- Coordinate with team members to minimize production interruptions
- Ensure compliance with safety, cleanroom, FOD, and ESD requirements
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Technical certification, AA degree, or equivalent hands‑on experience (A&P or automotive preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, or similar manufacturing environments
- Experience with MES software
- Experience working with FOD‑ and ESD‑sensitive hardware and in cleanroom environments
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1–2+ years of relevant manufacturing or hardware testing experience
- Experience with electro‑mechanical assemblies or flight hardware
- Experience with electronic test equipment and precision measurement tools
- Experience with Test Stand, LabVIEW, Python, or vacuum/pressurized systems
Pluses:
- Manufacturing background
- Experience with pressurized or vacuum testing
