Location: Redmond, WA 98052

Duration: 12 months

Job Description:

The Support Engineer will support the assembly and testing of propulsion systems and subsystems in a fast-paced production environment. This role works closely with cross‑functional engineering teams to ensure quality, efficiency, and on‑time delivery of production hardware.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, build, and test propulsion systems and subsystems per engineering drawings and work instructions
  • Manage turnaround time at assigned workstations
  • Follow quality control standards and document QC activities, calibrations, and maintenance
  • Identify and resolve build or test issues or escalate as needed
  • Support process improvement activities
  • Participate in daily stand‑ups, shift handoffs, and end‑of‑shift reporting
  • Coordinate with team members to minimize production interruptions
  • Ensure compliance with safety, cleanroom, FOD, and ESD requirements

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Technical certification, AA degree, or equivalent hands‑on experience (A&P or automotive preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience in aerospace, automotive, or similar manufacturing environments
  • Experience with MES software
  • Experience working with FOD‑ and ESD‑sensitive hardware and in cleanroom environments
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1–2+ years of relevant manufacturing or hardware testing experience
  • Experience with electro‑mechanical assemblies or flight hardware
  • Experience with electronic test equipment and precision measurement tools
  • Experience with Test Stand, LabVIEW, Python, or vacuum/pressurized systems

Pluses:

  • Manufacturing background
  • Experience with pressurized or vacuum testing
