You will explore and refine a range of designs through iterative prototyping and collaboration, developing a thorough understanding of the product design process, manufacturing, and validation.

Our internships are twelve (12) to sixteen (16) weeks long.

---## Product Design Engineering Intern Responsibilities
* Brainstorming innovative ideas and defining requirements balancing performance, comfort, and aesthetics.
* Design mechanical modules and systems including but not limited to enclosures, thermal solutions, dynamic components, etc.
* Detail 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software.
* Perform engineering analysis of design functionality including but not limited to free body diagrams, weight analysis, tolerance analysis, and statistical analysis.
* Rapidly prototype designs using 3D printing, CNC, and other fabrication techniques.
* Identify and resolve issues by troubleshooting and iterating on design.
* Validate design intent and functional requirements through data driven testing and analysis.
* Collaborate with electrical engineers, optical engineers, manufacturing engineers, reliability engineers, industrial engineers, and more to integrate hardware systems.
* Partner with suppliers to ensure design is manufacturable at scale.
