The MCAPS Core & Solution Area Finance team is seeking a proficient finance professional to be part of the team overseeing part of the product portfolio and driving strategy and execution across key rhythms and deliverables. The selected individual will get to work in a highly collaborative, fast‑paced (and fun) environment to help drive strategy across various different dimensions of the Commercials Sales Organization.

This position requires the ability to communicate strategy concisely and consistently, so business acumen and polished presentation and communication skills need to be your strengths. Responsibilities
  • The role requires a high degree of agility and skill in navigating multiple senior stakeholder requirements while enabling accelerated growth aspirations for the business in a highly competitive market environment. To be successful, the individual needs to be hyper collaborative and have an analytical background to drive/deliver on rhythms such as month close, forecast, and fiscal planning.
  • Drive decisions as needed cross‑company (EG, MCAPs, CFT) with senior execs to achieve cost of sale metrics/strong ROI and improved customer experience. Participate and contribute to deliverables associated with the finance and business rhythm such as fiscal year planning and quarterly forecast process/exec reviews.
  • Serves as Finance contact for business partners for all revenue, expense, and compliance questions related to reporting and analysis. Contributes insights for financial plans, variance analysis, resource optimization, investments, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), long range planning, and driving margin accountability. Manages and executes processes through engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Learns and applies the foundational aspects of Microsoft Finance (e.g., financial systems, policies and procedures, key metrics, historical performance, reporting and forecast requirements) and business (e.g., monetization strategy, market, key drivers of profitability) to collect information, perform technical analysis and modeling, and complete standardized reporting.
  • Assembles and summarizes data through data mining and business intelligence to structure reports and financial models for decision support. Leverages statistical analysis, predictive analytics and financial modeling techniques to conduct sophisticated analyses. Acts as subject‑matter‑expert for data management and operations. Understands history of data procurement, location, methods, issues, and actions taken.
