Principal Embedded Software Engineer – Qualcomm Chipset Bring-Up

Join our team as a Principal Embedded Software Engineer, leading the bring-up and optimization of cutting-edge Qualcomm chipsets for next-gen consumer devices. You’ll own the end-to-end bring-up process—from silicon power-on to full system functionality—while driving BSP development, debugging complex low-level issues, and delivering high-performance solutions for Windows on ARM platforms.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead BSP customization, boot loader, kernel, and driver optimizations for Qualcomm platforms (e.g., 8650).
• Solve complex hardware/firmware/software issues during bring-up phases.
• Collaborate closely with hardware, Qualcomm, and software teams.
• Optimize performance, power, and thermal characteristics for laptops and form factors.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive embedded software best practices.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of embedded software experience with ARM-based systems.
• Proven expertise in Qualcomm chipset bring-up and BSP development.
• Strong C/C++ and debugging skills (JTAG, Trace
  32, Win Dbg).
• Deep knowledge of ARM architectures, UEFI, device drivers, and Windows internals.

Preferred:

• Hands-on work with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2/3 or Surface-class products.
• Experience in power/thermal optimization and security at boot loader/silicon level.
