IT Project Manager, Systems Analyst
Overview
CONTRACT - Project Specialist (NTD) role position is with Nintendo Technology Development, based in Redmond, Washington. Nintendo is a worldwide pioneer in interactive entertainment and has a long history of hardware and software development for its gaming platforms.
Responsibilities- Project Leader for the Nintendo Technology Development Inc. (NTD) organization, leading technical projects of moderate scope and complexity.
- Collaborate closely with Information Technology (IT) and Developer Operations (Dev Ops) teams.
- Lead technical project teams through requirements gathering, scoping, planning, tracking and reporting.
- Develop project schedules and roadmaps, identify critical paths, and drive tasks, deliverables and milestones to achieve project goals.
- Coordinate with project team members at Nintendo Co., Ltd. (NCL) and its subsidiaries.
- Identify risks to scope, schedule and budget; escalate appropriately.
- Analyze and resolve moderately complex issues with team leaders; understand customer needs.
- Help define project KPIs and generate reports for continuous improvement.
- Own project completion and close; communicate effectively with project teams, sponsors, stakeholders and customers.
- Produce accurate project reports for stakeholders and management; collaborate with multiple teams to achieve goals.
- Identify opportunities to improve project management practices and processes.
- 2-4 years of related experience in project management.
- Knowledgeable about IT (ITIL) and Dev Ops frameworks; solid understanding of PM models and methodologies.
- Experience with industry-standard PM and development tools (Service Now and Atlassian products preferred).
- Experience with software development and engineering practices; understanding of IT and Dev Ops technologies is a plus.
- Understanding of embedded systems development is a plus.
- Fluency in Japanese is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business or equivalent.
- Project Management / Agile Certification, or equivalent coursework or experience.
- Valid passport may be required.
This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time.
Compensation and Benefits — This contract position has a base pay range of $41 - $66 per hour and is eligible for benefits through the employing agency. Agency benefits include eligibility for medical insurance, employee assistance program, and paid sick leave. All benefits are subject to elections, eligibility requirements, plan and program terms. Benefits offerings will be confirmed at the time of offer by the employing agency, and may differ depending on the employing agency partner.
