Project Manager Non Tech

The team is responsible for managing the third-party software assets including license management.

– Partner with the Software Licensing Service team, Procurement, and business groups to reduce costs and risk by executing software licensing consolidation projects

– Drawing on best practices and the candidate’s software asset management experience, define and execute best in class software licensing operations and deliver executive-level reporting on project implementation

The role will consist of 50% project management: building out the backlogs, establishing the agile ceremonies, getting ADO populated with the data, 25% meetings, 15% edit and refine documents and procedures, 10% emails.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Partner with the Secure Client Management group manager to lay the foundation for managing our group’s work on a new application management strategy.
• Drawing on Agile best practices and the candidate’s software asset management experience, define and execute ADO work items and processes to improve the team’s productivity.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Software Asset Management (SAM)
• 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Manager
• 1+ years of experience working with ADO, Agile, or similar technologies
• 2+ years of experience in project management
• Candidates with prior experience in IT service operations are preferred
• Superb written communication skills with demonstrated fluency in English

• Demonstrated consultative and leadership skills with a proven track record of successful project implementation
• Proven ability to negotiate skillfully in difficult situations, reaching agreements while building collaborative relationships
• Proven analytical and process improvement skills
• Proven ability to influence others across groups and be held accountable for delivery without implicit authority
• Understanding and application of the ISO 19770 standards and Software Asset Management best practices
