Systems Engineer, Data Science Manager
Overview
We are seeking a Delivery Technical Program Manager (TPM) to support the construction, inspection, configuration, and testing of new and expanding datacenter projects. This role requires strong cross-functional coordination, ensuring smooth project execution from design review through commissioning and final acceptance. The TPM will work closely with design engineers, vendors, and security teams to ensure physical security systems are properly installed, tested, and operational.
This role requires 50% travel in the West Coast Region.
- Coordinate project-level activities from design through commissioning and acceptance.
- Conduct project design reviews and participate in project meetings to ensure security considerations are addressed.
- Initiate and escalate support tickets as needed to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure installation schedules are met and security systems are properly configured.
- Support datacenter security system (DCSS) installations and programming requirements.
- Track critical project milestones and provide regular updates.
- Provide on-site and virtual support during commissioning phases.
- Facilitate new security vendor orientation at project kickoff.
- Participate in Lessons Learned sessions with the Design Engineering Team to improve future security installations.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of owner-furnished security hardware in alignment with project schedules.
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management, datacenter operations, or security system installations.
- Strong project coordination experience, particularly in datacenter construction or security infrastructure.
- Knowledge of physical security systems, including access control, surveillance, and alarm monitoring.
- Experience managing installation vendors and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Ability to track milestones, manage risks, and escalate issues appropriately.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with engineering, security, and vendor teams.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
Compensation range for position is $120,000 – 134,000 DOE.
