Job Description

As a Technician, you will provide first-level technical support to both shop floor and office personnel, addressing hardware, software, and connectivity issues either remotely or on-site. You will prioritize support for manufacturing applications and equipment while ensuring the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment such as workstations, laptops, and tablets. You will also manage user accounts, reset passwords, and handle access permissions in Active Directory and other business systems.

• Provide first-level technical support for shop floor and office personnel, both remote and on-site.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Prioritize support for manufacturing applications and equipment.
• Set up, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, tablets, and other IT equipment.
• Manage user accounts, password resets, and access permissions in Active Directory and other business systems.
• Assist with the installation and maintenance of printers, label makers, and specialized equipment in the shop.
• Ensure proper follow-up, resolution, and documentation of IT tickets.
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of laptops, desktops, monitors, and accessories.
• Help create, maintain, and update documentation for IT processes and activities.
• Escalate more complex or unresolved issues to higher-level support as needed.
• Provide training and support for common business applications such as Microsoft 365 and ERP systems.
• Maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies, including data protection and access control.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for equipment repairs or installations.

• 5+ years of experience in IT support or help desk role.
• CompTIA A+, Microsoft MCP, or similar certification.
• Basic understanding of Windows environments and IT hardware.
• Strong communication skills with a customer-service mindset.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a hands-on environment.
• Willingness to occasionally move or lift IT equipment (up to 50 pounds).

• Familiarity and experience with Microsoft SCCM for deploying standard Microsoft Windows images, including PXE Booting and the use of USB Bootable Media.

This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, WA.

The pay range for this position is $32.00 – $42.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Redmond, WA.
