Our team, RL Dev Infra, is building the infrastructure platform for Reality Labs products from inception to launch.
We are expanding and looking for experienced Technical Program Managers (TPM) who will play a key role in defining and driving highly complex, cross-functional programs. The RLDI TPM team is experienced, and we're looking for someone who is passionate about infrastructure and strategy and wants to be involved technically.
Technical Program Manager, RL Developer Infrastructure Responsibilities:
Drive cross-org and portfolio partners to own and execute several large-scale work streams to meet goals, building partnerships with managers and engineers across infrastructure and product teams
Bootstrap programs in ambiguous areas, requires managing multiple cross org or cross company interdependencies
Monitor and report on program progress, including risks and issues, and take necessary actions to mitigate them
Demonstrate end-to-end ownership and thought leadership across multiple organizations and influence strategic direction impacting long term plans for critical infrastructure challenges in collaboration with engineering leaders and stakeholders
Resolve conflicts, maintain clarity on priorities and drive progress on execution
Effective at resolving intra org issues and escalating / driving solutions to cross-org issues
Drive technical expertise within the team, coordinating and contributing to engineering deliverables including architectural diagrams, specifications, and launch criteria
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation phases
Minimum Qualifications:
7+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, hardware engineering, or technical product/program management experience
B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
Experience leading technology investments across multiple products or product families from innovation to delivery
Proven communicator who can translate high-level goals into tangible action plans, and vice-versa and communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale developer environment systems
Experience with working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
AI/ML experience
Preferred Qualifications:
$167,000/year to $230,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
