RF Test Rack Technician
Position DescriptionProtingent Staffing has an exciting contract opportunity located in Redmond, WA
Job Responsibilities- Assemble test racks from build plans, equipment layouts, and wiring diagrams
- Install power management hardware, network switches, RF test equipment, and associated cabling
- Configure network switches and connected devices, including IP settings and connectivity to local networks
- Perform rack checkout and troubleshoot power, networking, cabling, and equipment connectivity issues
- Perform test rack calibrations and maintain RF measurement equipment
- Recommend improvements to rack layouts, cable routing, assembly procedures, and maintenance access
- Document build changes, configurations, calibration results, and maintenance activities
- Experience building and integrating test racks or similar electronic systems
- Familiarity with rack-mount power distribution, networking hardware, and RF measurement equipment
- Working knowledge of basic networking, switch configuration, and device network settings
- Ability to follow technical documentation and independently troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues
- Strong attention to detail, organized cable management, and clear documentation skills
- Experience with RF test system calibration and equipment maintenance preferred
Job Type: Contract
Location:
Redmond, WA (onsite full time)
Pay Rate Range: $40-70/hr.
Due to government contract requirements, this position is restricted to U.S. Citizens only.
