Our customer, a leading global technology company, is seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney to join its Corporate External & Legal Affairs (CELA) – Employment + Immigration team. This contract role will provide critical support to high-volume U.S. business immigration operations during a period of increased demand and ongoing program support.

Key Responsibilities- Support high-volume U.S. business immigration operations
- Provide strategic legal advice on complex immigration matters to visa-dependent employees and business groups
- Advise on I‑9 and E‑Verify compliance
- Oversee preparation and filing of non‑immigrant and immigrant petitions and applications
- Ensure legal compliance in immigration filings
- Conduct legal research and draft concise legal memoranda
- Partner with internal colleagues and outside counsel to manage projects
- Translate complex legal issues into clear written and verbal guidance
- Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent and active bar license
- Active license to practice law in at least one jurisdiction
- Able to meet admission requirements in relevant jurisdictions
- 3+ years’ experience as an attorney practicing business immigration law
- High-volume business immigration experience, preferably with technology clients
- Experience across non‑immigrant and immigrant visa processes, including H‑1B, L‑1, TN, PERM, and EB‑1 categories
- At least 3 years of private law firm experience
- Prior experience supporting large corporate or global work forces
- Familiarity with in‑house legal team collaboration
- Experience managing and collaborating with outside counsel
