SummarySupports the development and execution of forward and reverse supply plans under guidance from senior team members. Performs supply and demand analysis, including “what-if” scenarios, to optimize service levels, costs, and inventory positioning. Collaborates on raw material planning, identifies excess goods, and works with suppliers to align on build plans. Gains proficiency in tools and processes to manage supply and drive operational improvements.
Responsibilities- Analytics, Tools, and Processes:
- Utilizes supply chain tools to streamline operations and reduce labor needs.
- Builds dashboards, interprets data, and conducts root cause analysis to support inventory and supply decisions.
- Contributes to process automation and system scalability.
- Communication:
- Acts as a liaison between teams to ensure priorities are clearly defined and executed.
- Communicates updates and escalations to stakeholders.
- Lifecycle and Inventory Management:
- Assists in raw material planning, product transitions, and last-time buys.
- Supports buffer strategies and excess inventory mitigation.
- Collaborates on rework and redeployment of goods.
- Strategy:
- Contributes to planning strategies that balance service levels, cost, and inventory under demand uncertainty.
- Supports material transfers and inventory alignment.
- Begins to design solutions for demand shifts and inventory adjustments.
- Supplier Operations Management:
- Partners with suppliers to resolve constraints and align on build plans.
- Monitors supplier capacity, compliance, and performance metrics.
- Supports mid-term capacity planning and investment alignment.
- Supply and Demand:
- Analyzes supply and demand scenarios and supports contingency planning.
- Helps develop and execute supply plans in coordination with factories and logistics.
- Agility:
Quickly processes and adapts to new information. - Continuous Improvement:
Identifies and implements enhancements to products, processes, or services. - Detail Orientation:
Ensures accuracy and completeness in documentation and data. - Data Analysis:
Interprets complex data sets to inform supply chain decisions and identify trends or gaps. - Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. - Problem Solving:
Evaluates issues and develops actionable solutions. - Financial Acumen:
Applies basic financial analysis to assess supply chain effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s in Engineering/Supply Chain/Operations + 1 year experience, OR Master’s in related field, OR equivalent experience.
- Bachelor’s + 4+ years OR Master’s + 2+ years in supply chain, operations, sourcing, or manufacturing
- Experience with supply planning tools, analytics platforms, and supplier collaboration
The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $52.00 - $55.00/hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, 10 paid days off, 401(k) plan participation, commuter benefits and life and disability insurance.
