The purpose of this position is to lead individual, multi‑disciplined Supported Employment Program solutions for clients, with direct accountability for project delivery.
What you’ll do- Manage all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for individual Supported Employment Program projects including program and community events, volunteer group management, community engagement, and data tracking.
- Demonstrate capability to read, understand and apply standard documents affecting Supported Employment projects, including but not limited to agreements/contracts, and Excel spreadsheets.
- Track, update data on Supported employees, coaches, employers. Provide client with updated data. Analyse and present program data.
- Organise and maintain files, photographs, using tagging and naming conventions on SharePoint Team Website.
- Provide meeting support – SE XLT, Advisory Council, Sync meetings with client and build PowerPoint decks.
- Coordinate community engagement & external event support – attend job fairs, conferences.
- Manage Workplace Photograph Project: schedule portrait sessions with SE, manager, guardian, secure permissions, take or coordinate photographer to take photographs. Organise photos, sharing as needed preferred photos for various outlets (webpage, newsletter, PPTs).
- Write procedures. Write articles for various media outlets.
- Interact directly with clients to define project requirements. Prepare scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
- Identify project delivery resources from pre‑qualified lists; conduct simple request for proposals; complete bid analysis with management support. Recommend resources to clients.
- Lead project delivery resources/team (typically smaller team) providing project guidance and direction to achieve project goals.
- Implement communication plan for meetings and written reports/meeting minutes to keep client and project resources informed. Facilitate project meetings.
- Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements. Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely and coordinated.
- Track progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, approved timelines. Report status and variances. Build action plans to meet objectives, budget and schedule.
- Implement change management routines to assess change requests, make recommendations, secure client approvals, and issue change orders. Assess change requests to determine impacts to scope, budget, schedule, quality and risk with management support.
- Implement standard risk‑management routines with management support, to identify project risks, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from college or university and/or equivalent related experience. Prior Project Management experience is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
- Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conduct basic financial analysis.
- Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Working knowledge in MS Project is helpful. Knowledge of the social services system and employment and community services for individuals with disabilities is helpful.
