Schedule: 4/10 – 80 hours in 14 days, Fridays off
Shift: 2nd shift – 7% Shift Differential Pay
This full‑time, on‑site Quality Inspector role ensures product integrity through quality control and assurance checks, process management, inspections, and analytical skills.
Essential Functions- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure parts and products meet drawing requirements
- Use work instructions from manufacturing engineers to collect data
- Complete first article inspections (FAIs)
- Perform in‑process inspections for drawing compliance
- Conduct final assembly inspections for product acceptance and workmanship
- Certify cleanroom and laminar flow bench
- Certify electrical fabrication internal processes
- Process receiving inspections – dock to stock
- High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years relevant experience
- OR an Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years post‑secondary and 2 years relevant experience
- IPC certifications 610, 620, J‑STD
- Experience with Oracle MRP/ERP systems
- Experience with Dassault Systemes Velocity MES
- Attention to detail and ability to analyze technical drawings and specifications
- Intermediate understanding of GD&T
- Proficiency using precision measurement tools
- Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes and materials
- Accuracy in documentation
- Ability to work in fast‑paced environments and meet deadlines
- Strong problem‑solving skills and manual measurement approaches
- Strong communication skills and teamwork ability
Salary ranges by location: $24.51–$45.43 per hour in select states; $21.15–$39.18 in others. Specific programs vary by hire date, schedule, and collective bargaining agreements.
