Base pay range
$35.00/hr - $44.00/hr
Electro-Mechanical Technician supports propulsion system assembly and testing while identifying opportunities to improve build efficiency and manufacturing processes. This role works closely with cross-functional engineering teams on production hardware in a fast-paced, start-up–like. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, detail-oriented, quality-driven, and adaptable to changing priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble and test propulsion sub-systems following engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
- Manage expected turnaround time at assigned workstations
- Adhere to quality control standards; document all QC activities, calibrations, and maintenance
- Identify and resolve issues impacting test performance or report findings to senior staff
- Support process improvement efforts and review outputs for quality and procedural compliance
- Adapt to schedule changes and respond to urgent or emergency situations
- Participate in daily stand-ups, shift handoffs, and end-of-shift reporting
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational protocols
- Minimize production interruptions through effective coordination with team members
- Technical certification, AA degree, or equivalent hands‑on experience
- (A&P license, automotive certifications, or similar preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and documentation
- Experience working with FOD, ESD‑sensitive hardware, and cleanroom environments
- Experience using MES (Manufacturing Execution System) software
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced, high‑change production environment
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Hands‑on experience with electro‑mechanical assemblies, final integration, or harness integration
- Experience working with flight hardware in a production environment
- Experience using precision measurement and inspection tools (e.g., torque wrenches, calipers, micrometers, multimeters, optical inspection devices)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with pressurized or vacuum testing (

- Strong communication skills with a low‑conflict, team‑first mindset
