Job DescriptionResponsible for conducting final acceptance and in-process tests and inspections on a variety of products.
Responsibilities- Review purchase orders, customer documents, engineering drawings/specifications, and process documentation in preparation for conducting quality conformance inspections and tests.
- Inspect and test products according to Acceptance Test Procedures and other criteria using inspection equipment such as calipers, radius gauges, etc.
- Perform cosmetic and other qualitative inspections per internal and external workmanship standards.
- Collect and record inspection and test data; generate reports of inspection and test results.
- Prepare non-conformance tags as required to achieve corrective actions.
- 2+ years of inspection experience.
- Quality assurance expertise.
- Proficiency with inspection equipment such as multimeters, dimensional measuring equipment, and other tools.
- Aerospace experience is strongly preferred.
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings to make independent determinations of product conformance.
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) is a plus.
- Basic computer skills required for data entry and report preparation.
- Industry certifications in soldering (J‑STD‑001 and IPC‑A‑610) and wire harnessing (IPC‑A‑620) or equivalent are strongly preferred.

The role is based on the production floor in a clean environment. Photometric inspection requires periods of up to two hours per day in an unlit or dimly lit room, with extended periods of sitting or standing. Work involves using electronic test equipment with high voltage, requiring care to avoid electrical shock.
