SUSHI CHEF (CATERING)

Location: Microsoft - th Avenue North East Overlake Bus, Redmond, WA 98052.

Schedule: Part time schedule. Monday through Friday, hours may vary. More details upon interview.

Requirement: 2 years of previous related experience is preferred.

Fixed Pay Rate: $32.00 per hour

Job Summary: Prepares and presents sushi and related food products to customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Offer a unique combination of restaurant, catering and special event experience to customers.
• Demonstrate high-level knife skills and special skills associated with sushi prep, production and presentation.
• Store foods in designated areas following corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures.
• Maintain sanitation of all equipment, supplies and utensils within work area; clean workstation thoroughly before leaving the area; keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service to assure compliance with all sanitation, Serv Safe, safety, OSHA, production and merchandising requirements.
• Interact with customers to enhance dining experience; demonstrate a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explain them to customers and associates.
• Keep up with peak production and service hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
