Are you an organized, methodical, detail-oriented thinker with solid software testing skills and a commitment to engineering excellence? Are you technically savvy and passionate about software quality? The primary responsibility is to help ensure high quality releases of our systems and services by applying testing best-practices and automation techniques to achieve exhaustive code path coverage. Additional responsibilities include participation in all phases of the software development life cycle including developing and driving test specifications, test cases, and test automation suites as well as reporting, tracking, and verifying the resolution of system anomalies.
Required Qualifications:
- a solid background in software development in a quality assurance role
- 2 or more years of experience contributing to shipping products
- detailed understanding of software testing methodology
- experience testing web applications and developing testing automation
Preferred:
- BS or MS in computer science or related engineering field
- C++, C# and .NET experience
- fluency in the Microsoft development tool set (Visual Studio 2010+)
- a detailed understanding of web application architecture
