Overview

Nintendo Technology Development is a small, dynamic software development group focused on networking software for Nintendo game systems. We develop networking software, perform research and prototyping, and build networking tools and solutions. We are seeking a software engineer with a passion for networking technologies, experienced in production-quality software development. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, debugging, and testing network-related software.

The candidate should have strong C/C++ programming and communications skills.

• Development of network-related software, both proprietary and OSS.
• Develop new features and protocols, perform performance analysis, optimize systems, maintain existing systems, write tests, and diagnose failures.
• May take lead role of software components.
• Review codes of others.

• BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering; MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred.
• 4 or more years of professional software development in C/C++ programming. Must be proficient with
  
  C.
• Experience with multithreaded software development.
• Strong data structures and algorithms knowledge.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Networking software development (L3 or above).
• Development experience with OS/kernel internals and/or systems-like software.
• Development experience with networking protocols or technologies such as SSL/TLS, HTTP, and socket APIs.

This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time.

This contract position has a base pay range of $60.89–$91.34 per hour and is eligible for benefits through the employing agency. Agency benefits include eligibility for medical insurance, employee assistance program, and paid sick leave. All benefits are subject to elections, eligibility requirements, plan and program terms. Benefits offerings will be confirmed at the time of offer by the employing agency and may differ depending on the employing agency partner.
