Position
Description:
Protingent Staffing has an exciting Contract Software Development Engineer opportunity located in Redmond, WA.
- Build systems using the latest AWS technologies
- Design and Implement Distributed Cloud-based Services and APIs
- Docker experience.
- Invent new tools that enable more frequent and reliable software deployment, test execution, and data analysis as part of a continuous integration and release system.
- Develop tools that allow for test execution across multiple environments: virtualised hardware, real hardware-in-the-loop simulations, and on-orbit testing.
- Evangelize engineering excellence, best practices, and mentor junior engineers.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Experience with systems integration and testing methodologies.
- Deep understanding of testing, continuous integration, build, deployment & continuous monitoring.
- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Job Qualifications:
- 3 years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Job Type: Contract
- Location:
Redmond, WA. - Pay Rate Range: $65-80/hr.
- Must be a U.S. citizen
