Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract Software Engineer II opportunity located in Redmond, WA.

• Develop and maintain AWS Lambda functions using Python.
• Build and enhance REST APIs using API Gateway.
• Work with Dynamo
  
  DB for data storage and retrieval.
• Implement frontend features for asset tracking and management.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality standards.
• Support production deployments and troubleshooting.

• Python: 3+ years of professional experience.
• AWS Services:
  Lambda, API Gateway, Dynamo
  
  DB, Cloud Watch, App Config, SQS, SNS.
• Infrastructure as Code: AWS CDK experience preferred.
• API Development: RESTful services and JSON handling.
• Database:
  No
  
  SQL databases, preferably Dynamo
  
  DB.
• Version Control:
  Git workflows and code review processes.
• Testing:
  Unit testing frameworks (pytest preferred).

• Pay Rate Range: $75-85/hr.
