Software Development Engineer (SDE) – e-Commerce Platform & Financial Systems Integration (Onsite, Seattle)

Location:

Redmond, WA (5 days/week onsite)

Long-Term Contract (W-2 ONLY)

About the Role

Inabia Solutions & Consulting is seeking highly skilled and passionate Software Development Engineers to join a transformative eCommerce platform program for one of the world’s most innovative technology companies. This is a hands‑on, high-impact engineering role building next‑generation solutions that power subscriber management, provisioning, billing, and financial integrations for global‑scale platforms.

As an SDE, you will design, develop, and operate services and components that enable seamless customer onboarding, order‑to‑cash workflows, and financial transaction processing. You’ll work in close collaboration with cross‑functional engineering, product, and platform teams, leveraging cloud‑native architectures and best‑in‑class development practices to deliver scalable, secure, and high‑performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable, reliable, and secure software services for mission‑critical eCommerce platforms.
  • Partner with product managers, architects, and cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
  • Implement Java‑based SDKs, RESTful APIs, and data models that integrate with financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP).
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and operational monitoring solutions.
  • Contribute to the design and evolution of platform architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and collaborative design sessions to continuously improve delivery quality and velocity.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement long‑term fixes.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and propose new solutions that improve platform capabilities and customer experience.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience (non‑internship).
  • Leet Code Interview – Passing evaluation required.
  • 3+ years of experience in software architecture and system design (scalability, reliability, distributed systems).
  • Proficiency in Java and modern frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot, or equivalent).
  • Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and working with JSON and microservices‑based architecture.
  • Hands‑on experience building cloud‑native applications on AWS and working with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, Dynamo

    DB, S3).
  • Proven track record integrating with financial applications (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or similar) or delivering solutions for order‑to‑cash processes.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Dev Ops best practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building and deploying large‑scale eCommerce or subscription platforms.
  • Strong background in secure application development and API design.
  • Knowledge of Graph

    QL, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and event‑driven architecture.
  • Experience in full SDLC: code reviews, source control, build automation, testing, deployment, and operations.
