We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible swim instructors to join our team! In this role, you will provide high‑quality swim instruction to children of various skill levels and ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. Ideal candidates are passionate about working with kids, have strong swimming skills, and can create a positive and supportive learning atmosphere. • Educate and instruct swimmers of all ages and abilities in water safety, stroke techniques, and swimming fundamentals.
• Develop lesson plans tailored to the skill levels of the students.
• Provide high‑quality, constructive feedback on swimmers’ stroke technique.
• Communicate effectively with the Deck Manager/Head Guard and parents on student progress in person and through internal progress‑tracking software.
• Set up and tear down swim‑lesson supplies to maintain a clean and organized pool area.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies, following emergency action plans.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations and monitor swimmers closely to maintain a safe environment.
• Perform daily equipment checks and report damages.
• Follow the emergency action plan for any emergency situation.

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• High school diploma (in progress acceptable).
• Ability to respond to and operationalize emergency action plans in case of emergency.

Redmond Pool

Part‑time, non‑exempt

$18.50‑$20.00 per hour

Monday‑Friday: 5 p.m.‑9 p.m.
Saturday‑Sunday: 7:30 a.m.‑1:45 p.m.
