As a Supply Chain Subcontract Administrator – Level 4, you'll be crucial to missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position is located in Redondo Beach, CA.
Job DescriptionParticipating in strategic sourcing decisions and developing teaming agreements
Preparing requests for proposal consistent with customer solicitations and corporate policies and procedures
Analyzing and evaluating proposal responses, ensuring that risks and mitigation strategies are identified
Developing negotiation plans
Finalizing subcontract terms and conditions
Prepare justifications and negotiation memorandums and documenting files in preparation for internal and external audits by applying Northrop Grumman values, policies, procedures, and practices
Responsibilities also include metrics, reporting, forecasting, and administering subcontracts from requirements development through closeout. Ability to collaborate with program managers and other multi-functional teams is a must to ensure delivery of compliant products and services within the technical parameters, cost, and schedules required.
Successful candidate will be required to make decisions in a timely manner, multi-task, have strong interpersonal skills, thorough knowledge of FAR/DFARs, as well as the temperament to work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree and 8+ years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management, or related fields, to include Business and Financial Planning, Contracts Administration, Project Management, Logistics, or Manufacturing; 6 + years of experience with a Master’s; in lieu of degree, 12 + years of experience may be considered
Active Secret Clearance is required to start
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking and innovative behaviors in past projects, roles or experiences
Proficiency in MS Office suite
Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance
Experience in Administering high dollar value Subcontracts
Demonstrated strong leadership skills as well as the ability to multi-task in a challenging environment
Professional experience in a regulated industry; to include Aerospace & Defense, Insurance, Financial Services, Telecommunications
SAP experience
Knowledge of FAR/DFAR
This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
