Our Program Cost Control Analyst will help prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and assist with financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlooks, cash forecasting and variance analysis. You will also work to ensure adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation for expenditure projections and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.

This position is in Redondo Beach, CA and does not offer an option of teleworking or working from an alternate location. The incumbent selected must work on site in Redondo Beach, CA.

The selected candidate will serve in a Cost Analyst role for multiple contractual research and development (CRAD) programs as well as manage strategic internal R&D (IRAD) projects and will be responsible for numerous aspects of the program including cost, schedule, and technical performance of the program, and interfacing with internal and external customers, and support organizations.

The selected candidate will also be responsible for helping product divisions expand their customer base, identify growth opportunities, and play significant role in bid and proposal activities. Interfacing with the rest of the division to identify technology mature enough to pull into other IRAD and CRAD projects will also be required.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ability to use financial systems, to learn basic understanding of EVMS principles and hands‑on cost performance reporting/analysis skills
• Analyze variances/trends and develop new methods and process techniques;
  Work under very general supervision while completing numerous assignments per schedule and elevating potential issues to ensure proper management focus
• Provide data management and analysis skills with working knowledge of Excel/ PowerPoint to represent data visually
• May develop and deliver presentations

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of stated professional experience – OR – Master’s degree – OR – an additional 4+ years of stated experience with a High School diploma in lieu of degree
• Experience with financial analysis or reporting
• Experience with MS Office Suite
• Requires an active Department of Defense (DoD) Top‑Secret Clearance and/or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Access at the time of application
