Job SummaryThe Principal/Senior Principal Project Management will lead all phases of the program life cycle from proposal development through execution and contract closeout. The role focuses on supply chain execution, process improvement, and alignment with program priorities across multiple tiers of the Research and Advanced Design Supply Chain.
Responsibilities- Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
- Review project status and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
- Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
- Contribute to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards; demonstrate expert knowledge and communicate technical approaches and findings.
- Develop solutions to complex problems using ingenuity and innovation; ensure solutions align with organizational objectives.
- Execute most assignments independently without significant direction; exercise latitude in determining objectives and approaches.
- Understand that decisions have long‑lasting effects and influence the future course of the organization.
- Serve as consultant to management and external spokesperson on major matters; advise senior management and customers.

- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years experience, or Master’s degree with 3 years experience, or high school diploma with 9 years experience in Project Management, Program Management, Procurement, Purchasing, Business Management, Proposals, Program Scheduling, Price/Cost Analysis, Program Integration, or other Global Supply Chain related field.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience using SAP, ERP or other related business software application.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance and Program Special Access within a reasonable time.

- Bachelor’s degree with 8 years experience, or Master’s degree with 6 years experience, or high school diploma with 12 years experience in Project Management, Program Management, Procurement, Purchasing, Business Management, Proposals, Program Scheduling, Price/Cost Analysis, Program Integration, or other Global Supply Chain related field.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience using SAP, ERP or other related business software application.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance and Program Special Access within a reasonable time.
- Experience in Earned Value Management (EVM) and Control Account Manager (CAM).
- Experience providing financial and business support.
- Project or Program Management certifications.
- SharePoint workflow or other collaboration site design/development.
- Process mapping and process improvement experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- DoD Secret Clearance.
- Special Program Access.
- Capture experience and early program materials.
