We are seeking an experienced Broadcast Technician to join our team. This is a part-time position in the Southern California Beach Area (Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach).
Our studio is known for its innovative approach to broadcasting, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion for creating high-quality content. In this role, you will be working at a local television studio broadcasting government meetings and ensuring proper upkeep of broadcast equipment and systems. Candidate should be experienced using video switchers, camera controls, on-air graphics, audio, and A/V systems.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of our broadcast studio, from setting up equipment to troubleshooting technical issues. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Join us at Pegasus Studios and be part of a creative team dedicated to delivering top-notch broadcasts.
ScheduleWe are looking for someone to work 8-12 shifts per month. Most productions take place on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. There are occasional shifts on Thursday and Friday. Productions run from 4 to 8 hours on average. Overtime is paid for any shift going over 8 hours. Most productions start around 3 pm and end around 9 pm, but can and will go later.
