Student Worker

Are you a current Inglewood Unified School District High School Student (Age 16+) looking to build real job skills, gain work experience, and positively impact your community - all while having fun? The District is excited to launch brand-new Student Worker positions supporting our After School Program arts and dance enrichment program!

This is your chance to grow, lead, and make a difference in the lives of younger students while exploring future career possibilities within the District!

• Support program staff during high-energy dance, movement, and enrichment activities
• Assist with student supervision, attendance check-ins, transitions, and group support
• Help prepare materials, organize learning spaces, and set up activity stations
• Provide positive encouragement to students as they learn new dances and social-emotional skills
• Work with staff to keep the program running smoothly and safely
• Bring your creativity, leadership, and enthusiasm to a vibrant after-school environment!

You may also assist with general clerical, operational, or instructional tasks depending on program needs, helping you build a wide range of work-ready skills. Please see the Student Worker Job Description for more details.

• Part-time, after school (3 pm - 5 pm)

• Days vary based on assignment and student worker statutory limits
• Assignments will be at selected IUSD school sites participating in the After School Program

• Be a current Inglewood USD high school student, age 16 or older
• Have a 2.5 GPA or higher
• Maintain 90% or better attendance
• Be dependable, positive, and ready to support a diverse community of students and staff

No prior job experience required - this is an entry-level opportunity!

Students under 18 will need a valid California Work Permit (B1-4).
