Controller, Finance & Banking, Accounting Manager

Our client is looking for a skilled Controller to oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, leadership abilities, and a strategic mindset.

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Prepare financial statements, reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.

Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations.

Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and audits.

Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.

Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and support business initiatives.

Evaluate and implement accounting software or systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.

7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.

In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting standards.

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
