We’re supercharging electrical wire harness manufacturing through software configuration, transforming skilled assembly tasks into high-throughput production lines. As a Harnessing Technician, you’ll be a key member of our production team, building critical aerospace and defense electrical harness assemblies with minimal supervision and contributing to continuous improvement of factory systems.
What you’ll own- Manufacture intermediate to complex wire harnesses independently following schematics and work instructions.
- Interpret technical schematics and drawings to ensure accurate assembly.
- Perform soldering, crimping, routing, and strain relief using best practices and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot basic build issues and elevate blockers to supervisors or engineering teams.
- Support documentation of processes and suggest improvements.
- Mentor apprentice technicians and support team training initiatives.
- Participate in daily floor meetings, audits, and continuous improvement activities.
- Support ad‑hoc projects to boost output and ensure harness builds are delivered quickly and efficiently.
- High school diploma or equivalent certification.
- 1–7 years of experience in electrical harness manufacturing or related technical fields.
- Proficient in interpreting intermediate to complex schematics.
- Ability to perform soldering, crimping, and basic troubleshooting.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted and stand for extended periods.
- IPC/WHMA‑A‑620 certification.
- Experience working in aerospace and defense manufacturing.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and ISO/AS9100 standards.
- Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and other job‑related factors.
- Hourly Range: $23.50–$36.00
- This onsite role is currently based at our Redondo Beach HQ. We are planning to expand operations to Orange County in Q1 2026 (subject to change). Team members hired into this role should expect to work from Redondo Beach initially, with a future transition to an Orange County facility once operational. Candidates should be comfortable with both commute locations.
