PV Village Pet Hospital is looking for a Part-Time Registered Veterinary Technician with Potential for Full-Time Employment to join our team!
8-hour shifts with weekend opportunities in the future
Redondo Beach, CA

As a Registered Veterinary Technician, you’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing end‑to‑end care for our precious patients. Your life‑changing work will range from the hands‑on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to support services including admitting and discharging patients.
Role Requirements- Proof of Registered Veterinary Technician status in California
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to effectively handle and control aggressive animals.
- Must be able to handle the physical and emotional aspects of work in a veterinary clinic environment, including the use of euthanasia.
- Be proficient in venipuncture, IV catheter placement, digital radiography (full body and dental)
- Assist with anesthetic procedures as needed (eg. Spays, neuters, mass removals, dentals, etc)
- Commitment to ongoing educational development and growth.
- Must have active listening, critical thinking, complex problem solving, time management, judgment, and decision‑making skills.
- Professional and friendly demeanor with staff and clients
- Able to work late day shifts and a regular weekend day.
- Available part‑time
Compensation is based on credentials and experience with an hourly pay rate up to $20–$30/hour.
