Contracts Manager – West Cornwall
Build Recruitment is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee a Capital Works Program across Cornwall, supporting planned works for a social housing contractor.
Day to Day Responsibilities- Manage and upgrade council properties, ensuring contract compliance.
- Line‑manage trades and subcontractors on contract sites.
- Plan reactive maintenance and high‑volume planned works.
- Conduct surveys and health & safety inspections.
- Build client relationships, supporting on‑site coordination.
- Construction related qualification desirable.
- Experience managing maintenance and trades teams.
- Experience with large‑scale maintenance contracts.
- Strong focus on process and procedure.
- Experience handling multiple high‑volume planned works.
- Good technical building knowledge.
- Computer literacy – Microsoft Office.
- Full driving licence.
