The Manufacturing Engineer is a critical role in maintaining the smooth running of processes needed to supply customers. This position is part of the Pall Aerospace BU in Redruth, supporting manufacturing operations. You will be part of a team of 13 Manufacturing Engineers, each with their own area of responsibility, and the role will initially be a 12‑month contract to cover maternity leave.

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include
  • BEng HNC or HND in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Advanced user of CAD and Office software, with experience in automotive, aerospace, or a relevant engineering industry.
  • Experience in hydraulics and assembly.
  • Ability to evaluate manufacturing processes using lean tools and practices.
  • People leadership experience.
  • Ability to assess machine requirements and liaise with equipment suppliers, FAT, IQ, OP & PQ, PFMEA.
It Would Be a Plus If You Also Possess
  • Experience with SAP data entry and routing maintenance.
  • Lean Six Sigma training.
  • Exposure to, understanding of, and implementation of modern manufacturing assembly systems, MES, Industry 4.0, instrumentation, and control.
