As a Skilled Butcher you will have a good product knowledge, cutting and preparation skills, and offer high standards of customer service. You will be able to prepare orders to customers’ needs and have a good understanding of stock control process and procedures.
Responsibilities- Support the Butchery sales and profit by working closely with the Butchery Manager and department team.
- Engage with customers to deliver the highest standards in customer service.
- Prepare orders to customers’ needs and maintain good product knowledge.
- Maintain an understanding of stock control processes and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and legal standards at all times.
- Own the operation of the department in the Butchery Manager’s absence.
- Adhere to standard ways of working and legislative requirements in food safety and health and safety.
- Customer‑driven, organized and an excellent communicator.
- Experience with in the butchery trade.
- Ability to work as part of a small team and in a 7‑day operation.
- Working hours and patterns will be discussed and confirmed xible patterns available to support work and family demands.
