We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales / Counter Sales Assistant to join our team in Redruth.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with sales experience, strong product knowledge, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service within a busy builders’ merchant environment.

• Serving trade and retail customers at the counter and over the phone
• Proactively identifying sales opportunities and helping customers find the right products
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Preparing quotations and following up on sales enquiries
• Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Providing product advice and recommending suitable solutions
• Supporting stock control and general branch operations
• Working closely with colleagues to maximise sales and customer satisfaction
• Maintaining a safe, tidy, and professional branch environment

• Previous experience within a builders' merchant, trade counter, or internal sales role preferred
• Strong sales and customer service skills
• Plumbing and heating product knowledge desirable
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Confidence using computer systems (full training provided)
• Positive, proactive, and team-focused attitude
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, organised, and results-driven approach

Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
