Sales Assistant - Redruth (TR15 3RR) - Plumb Centre So, who are we?

) , you'll be responsible for:
- Assisting customers at the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations
- Dealing with customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude
- Providing excellent service, establishing strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers
- Proactively seeking opportunities to grow sales within the branch, working with both existing and new customers
- Completing general warehouse duties, including picking and packing orders (which will involve some heavy lifting), organising deliveries and merchandising displays to a high standard
- Driving delivery Vehicle and completing customer orders.
This is a Full Time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 08:00am- 17:00pm. Saturday working when required 8am to 12pm, paid as overtime.
And here's what we'd like you to have:- Proven experience in sales and customer service
- Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking with customers
- A hands-on approach, using initiative when needed to work as part of a small team and support in all areas at the branch
- Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Full Driving licence
