- Assisting customers at the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations
- Dealing with customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude
- Providing excellent service, establishing strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers
- Proactively seeking opportunities to grow sales within the branch, working with both existing and new customers
- Completing general warehouse duties, including picking, and packing orders (which will involve some heavy lifting), organising deliveries and merchandising displays to a high standard
- Driving 3.5T van making deliveries to customers in the local area
This is a Full time permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 08:00AM - 5:00PM and every other Saturday morning 08.00AM - 12.00PM.
Requirements- Proven experience in sales and customer service
- Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking with customers
- Warehouse experience
- The ability to deliver outstanding customer service
- To be a team player who is happy to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch
- Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic
- Full Driving Licence
