An established Venture Capital firm in the Bay Area that is looking to add a Staff Accountant to its finance team. Responsibilities Support day-to-day accounting operations across the firm's management company and investment funds.

Assist with accounts payable, expense processing, invoice review, and payment coordination.

Maintain accurate financial records and assist with general ledger activities and account reconciliations.

Process and track employee expenses and vendor payments using platforms such as Expensify and  with monthly and quarterly close processes, financial reporting, and supporting schedules.

Help maintain accounting records and ensure transactions are properly documented and recorded.

Support fund-related accounting and operational activities, gaining exposure to investment and fund operations.

Assist with special projects, process improvements, and other finance initiatives as the firm continues to grow.

Leverage technology and emerging AI tools to identify opportunities to improve workflows and increase efficiency.
