We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Diesel Ford Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive mechanic experience, strong automotive repair skills, and a deep understanding of vehicle maintenance and auto body repair. This role involves diagnosing complex issues, performing repairs, and ensuring the highest standards of vehicle safety and performance. The Senior Ford Technician will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for quality service and customer satisfaction.
* Duties
* * Conduct comprehensive diagnostics on Ford vehicles using advanced tools and equipment
* Perform repairs including engine, transmission, suspension, brake systems, and electrical components
* Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques to complete repairs efficiently
* Execute auto body repair and restoration tasks as needed
* Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings clearly to customers and team members
* Assist in training junior technicians and sharing expertise on automotive service best practices
* Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
* Assist with vehicle inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems
* Qualifications
* * Proven mechanic experience with a focus on Ford vehicles or similar automotive brands
* Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components
* Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and auto body repair equipment
* Experience in vehicle maintenance, automotive repair, auto restoration, and auto service xrlwcon procedures
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or part replacements
* Knowledge of automotive diagnostics software and electronic systems is preferred
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Relevant certifications or ASE certification is a plus but not mandatory
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $44.50 - $55.00 per hour
