Join New Port LLC as a Human Resources Manager and help build a top-tier talent team.
Base pay range$/yr – $/yr
Duties/Responsibilities- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract high‑quality talent.
- Sourcing and screening candidates using job boards, social media, employee referrals, and other channels.
- Conducting phone, online conference, and in‑person interviews to assess candidate fit.
- Managing the candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Collaborating with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop job descriptions.
- Negotiating job offers and facilitating the onboarding process for new hires.
- Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date candidate data in applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Recruitment expertise: end‑to‑end recruitment process knowledge including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Candidate sourcing: ability to attract qualified candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
- Candidate assessment: proficiency in evaluating qualifications, skills, cultural fit through interviews, assessments, and reference checks.
- Employer branding: knowledge of strategies to promote the organization’s reputation to attract top talent.
- Communication skills: excellent verbal and written communication to engage candidates, hiring managers, and stakeholders.
- Negotiation skills: ability to negotiate offers and compensation packages with candidates.
- Relationship building: strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships across the organization.
- Data‑driven mindset: ability to analyze recruitment metrics to inform decisions and improve processes.
- Time management: manage multiple recruitment processes concurrently while meeting deadlines.
- Adaptability: flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and market conditions.
- Technology proficiency: familiarity with ATS and other recruiting software.
- Ethical and compliance awareness: understanding of EEO regulations and data privacy laws.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of recruitment best practices and techniques.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and other recruiting technologies.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience collaborating with hiring managers and stakeholders to formulate effective recruitment strategies.
Fluent in English and Mandarin is a must.
Extra point:
Working knowledge of human resource disciplines such as compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and relevant federal and state employment laws.
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but serves as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
