As a Senior Engineering Manager on Intelligence Platform, you will lead multiple teams of infrastructure and ML engineers and help define the strategy for the core foundations of this platform. You’ll guide how we apply AI models to real enterprise use cases at scale, with a strong focus on reliability, security, and compliance. You’ll partner with leaders across Product and Engineering to shape the long‑term roadmap for Box AI and the Intelligence Platform.

• Lead and grow multiple teams of infrastructure and ML engineers (including senior individual contributors and, potentially, other managers) responsible for the AI platform that powers Box AI.
• Define and drive the technical strategy and multi‑quarter roadmap for the Intelligence Platform in partnership with Product and other engineering leaders.
• Own execution of complex, multi‑team initiatives that ensure our AI solutions are secure, compliant, reliable, and cost‑efficient at enterprise scale.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners, including Product, Design, Security, Legal, and other platform/product teams to create seamless AI‑powered experiences across Box.
• Establish and evolve operational excellence for your domain (e.g., SLIs/SLOs, on‑call practices, incident management, quality and reliability metrics).
• Build and maintain a high‑performance culture focused on innovation, technical excellence, and continuous learning, while reinforcing clear expectations and accountability.
• Drive hiring, succession planning, and talent development, with a particular focus on attracting and developing senior engineering talent aligned to the long‑term needs of the platform.
• Manage and coordinate the team’s on‑call rotation to ensure timely and effective incident response, actively participate in escalated on‑call incidents to provide leadership and support, and drive improvements by addressing recurring issues to minimize disruptions.
