Senior Manager/Associate Director, Commercial Analytics

Redwood City, California, United States

Corcept is leading the way in the research and development of cortisol modulators, molecules that regulate cortisol activity at the glucocorticoid receptor (GR). To date, we have discovered more than 1,000 selective proprietary cortisol modulators.

In 2012, we received FDA approval of Korlym (mifepristone), the first approved treatment for hypercortisolism (Cushing’s syndrome).

Today, our team and collaborators continue to unlock the possibilities of cortisol modulation as a way to treat serious diseases. With more than 30 ongoing studies across a wide range of disease areas, including endocrinology, oncology, metabolism, and neurology, we remain dedicated to advancing the possibilities of cortisol modulation.

What began as a ripple of scientific truth is now poised to unleash a sea change of discovery representing a fundamental shift in the way we understand and treat disease.

We are seeking a highly analytical and results-oriented Senior Manager or Associate Director, Commercial Analytics to join our Endocrinology division. This is a hands-on role responsible for analyzing data, building dashboards, and delivering insights that shape commercial decision-making across sales operations, marketing analytics, payer analytics and real-world evidence (RWE).

The scope of this role can flex depending on the candidate’s experience and interests—whether in field effectiveness, omnichannel performance, payer dynamics, or patient journey analytics—with opportunities to expand over time. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is equally comfortable writing SQL queries or building a dashboard as they are presenting insights to senior leadership, and can balance tactical execution with strategic influence.

While collaboration with external data providers and consultants is expected, the individual will own the analysis, synthesis and delivery of insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Operations & Field Effectiveness
    • Optimize CRM systems, territory alignments, call planning and incentive compensation
    • Refine targeting and segmentation approaches to deepen HCP and account engagement
    • Analyze sales metrics and collaborate with Sales leadership to evaluate performance
    • Partner with Sales Training to ensure effective systems training for field teams
  • Measure and optimize marketing and digital campaign performance across HCP and patient touchpoints
  • Build and maintain dashboards to track KPIs across channels
  • Collaborate with Marketing to define metrics, conduct test-and-learn analyses and provide timely insights
  • Market Access & Patient Analytics
    • Analyze payer coverage, formulary dynamics and access barriers to inform pricing and contracting strategies
    • Develop dashboards tracking payer mix, pull-through and patient affordability trends
    • Support Market Access and field access teams with insights that optimize payer engagement
  • Specialty Pharmacy & Patient Analytics
    • Monitor and analyze patient access metrics (e.g., speed-to-therapy, adherence, abandonment, fulfillment)
    • Integrate specialty pharmacy, field and patient services data to provide a comprehensive view of the patient journey
  • Real-World Evidence (RWE) & Medical Collaboration
    • Analyze claims and EMR data to assess treatment patterns, adherence and product value
    • Partner with Medical Affairs to support outcomes analyses, value communications and publications
  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Analytics Enablement
    • Design and deliver dashboards and reporting frameworks (Tableau, Power BI, Sigma) spanning sales, marketing, payer and patient analytics
    • Build integrated reporting across CRM, marketing, payer and third-party data (IQVIA, Symphony, Komodo)
    • Explore and apply advanced analytics techniques—including predictive modeling, machine learning and emerging AI/LLM approaches—to uncover new insights, improve forecasting and elevate commercial decision-making
    • Translate complex datasets into clear, decision-ready insights for senior leadership
    • Act as an internal consultant, providing data-driven recommendations to stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Medical, Finance and IT
    • Lead…
