Job DescriptionThe Manufacturing Operator is responsible for supporting pharmaceutical production operations in accordance with established safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This role performs hands‑on manufacturing activities, operates and maintains production equipment, and ensures compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), site Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements. The operator supports daily manufacturing activities to meet production schedules and quality targets, ensures raw materials and finished products meet defined specifications, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives.
This position requires adherence to company values, Code of Conduct, and applicable policies while maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
- Perform pharmaceutical manufacturing operations in compliance with GMP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
- Operate, set up, and monitor production line equipment according to approved parameters.
- Wear appropriate task‑based and general PPE at all times.
- Support production schedules by ensuring timely and accurate execution of manufacturing tasks.
- Conduct routine checks to ensure raw materials and products meet quality and specification requirements.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance on small equipment (e.g., heat sealers, mixers, conductivity meters).
- Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and line readiness activities.
- Maintain a safe work environment and immediately report unsafe conditions or non‑compliance issues.
- Participate in required training and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide operational support to projects and other departments as assigned.
- Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- High School Diploma.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Experience working in a regulated industry (pharmaceutical, chemical, etc.).
