We’re seeking detail-driven, reliable professionals to join our client’s growing team as Robotics Data Collectors at a fast-scaling robotics company in Redwood City, CA.
In this role, you’ll be at the core of real-world robotics development—collecting the high-quality data that trains robotic arms to become smarter, faster, and more precise. You’ll work closely with engineers and researchers in a dynamic lab environment, helping bring next-generation robotic systems to life through precise, hands-on task execution.

Your role is critical to advancing robotic intelligence and performance. Daily responsibilities include:
- Manually operating robotic arms to perform a wide range of physical tasks using teleoperation tools
- Ensuring data accuracy through proper annotation and quality verification
- Monitoring robotic behavior and documenting performance issues or irregularities
- Producing detailed reports on task execution and robot performance
- Following strict safety, quality, and procedural guidelines
- Collaborating with engineering and research teams to improve task workflows and data quality
This full-time, on-site contract role is based in Redwood City, CA; applicants must be able to work on-site.
Required Qualifications- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong manual dexterity
- Ability to stand, move, and work on your feet for extended periods
- Comfort following detailed instructions and working independently
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and reporting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Availability for one of the following shifts:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM — 3:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM — 11:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
- Optional weekend shifts available based on business needs (paid overtime)
- Prior experience in robotics, electronics, manufacturing, lab operations, or QA
- Familiarity with teleoperation, automation, or mechanical systems
- Previous work in a fast-paced startup or technical environment
- Exposure to AI, robotics research, or data collection workflows
