Join us as a Senior Applications Developer where you will analyze, design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for commercial or end‑user applications. You will write code, complete programming, perform testing, and debugging of applications.
What You’ll Do- Work as a Full Stack Java Developer on Oracle Next Gen solutions developed and running on Oracle Cloud.
- Be a strong Java developer capable of digging deeper into any part of the stack; in‑depth understanding of fundamentals of distributed systems is a must.
- Have exposure to Microservices Technology/Platform and its related technical stack.
- Interact with cross‑functional teams and cooperate with people working in different areas of the stack. Value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver user stories/backlog items with the highest quality and consistency across the product.
- Work with a geographically dispersed team of engineers, taking complete ownership and accountability to see the project through to completion.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3-5 years building and designing enterprise and consumer‑grade applications.
- BS in computer science.
- Demonstrable computer science fundamentals, object‑oriented design, and Java programming.
- Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Strong system design skills.
- Ability to work creatively and analytically using data‑driven decision‑making to improve customer experience.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, with proven success in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.
- Self‑motivated and self‑driven, continuously learning and able to work independently.
- Automation & tool development for monitoring & managing large‑scale systems.
- Large scale SaaS/PaaS based cloud native enterprise application development experience.
- Expertise in developing and operating highly scalable & available systems.
- Experience working in an Agile devops continuous delivery deployment environment with geographically distributed teams.
- Strong full‑stack programming experience in Java, JavaScript, Python, Perl/Shell scripting, Oracle RDBMS (SQL and No
SQL). - Very good understanding of micro‑services based architecture, working knowledge in Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience in CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins and Git.
- Web & mobile GUI development tools/frameworks experience (Angular, React, OJet).
- Familiarity with AI techniques and ML concepts.
- Functional understanding of the payables module.
- MS in Computer Science.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high‑level design based on provided external specifications. You will specify, design, and implement minor changes to existing software architecture, build highly complex enhancements, and resolve complex bugs. You will build and execute unit tests, review integration and regression test plans from QA, and communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss minor changes to product functionality and ensure quality and consistency across specific products.
QualificationsCertain US customer or client‑facing roles may require compliance with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates.
Salary and BenefitsHiring range: $87,000 – $178,100 per year (may be eligible for bonus and equity).
