ROLE OVERVIEW
Fanatics is looking for a Software Engineer III to join the Fan App team, where you will help build the next-generation shopping experience within a universal Fan App — creating intuitive, high-impact journeys that improve discovery,personalization, engagement, and conversion for sports fans. You will partner closely with product, design, backend, data,and platform teams to deliver reliable, performant, and measurable full-stack experiences end to end, with a focus onsearch, recommendations, merchandising, promotions, and product discovery.

The Software Engineer III, Fan App delivers business and fan impact through BOLD leadership and execution excellence, leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled
insights.

Fan & Customer Impact (Obsessed with Fans)

• Design, build, test, and ship high-quality user experiences across Fan App surfaces — including search,recommendations, merchandising, promotions, and product discovery.

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, improve app responsiveness, and help create exceptional,conversion-driving fan experiences.

• Implement instrumentation and eventing that help the team understand fan behavior, feature adoption,experimentation outcomes, and funnel performance.

• Support production excellence by debugging issues, improving observability, and contributing to a strong quality and release culture.

• Build robust integrations with backend APIs and services, with careful attention to performance, reliability, and
maintainability.

• Apply experimentation, A/B testing, and analytics to inform product decisions and continuously improve discovery

ecommerce techniques — to push Fan App forward.
