Welding Instructor (Part-Time Faculty Pool) Reedley College

Reedley College is seeking a part-time Welding Instructor to teach a variety of welding courses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and experience teaching diverse student populations.

Responsibilities:

• Teach a part-time schedule of Welding courses as assigned
• Use a variety of pedagogies and integrate technology into instruction
• Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff
• Evaluate student progress and maintain classroom records
• Provide course syllabi and turn in required student grading and evaluation reports

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and two years of directly related professional experience; or
• Associate degree and six years of directly related professional experience; or
• A valid California Community College Credential; or
• The equivalent education and/or experience

Desirable

Qualifications:

• Experience incorporating elements of diversity, equity, and inclusion into instruction
• Recent experience working with diverse student populations
• Willingness to examine and remediate instructional practices to support diverse students
• Related work and professional experience
• Experience working with students of various cultural, gender, age, socioeconomic, and ethnic backgrounds
