Adventist Health Reedley has been serving the Central Valley since 2011. The 49‑bed acute care hospital also offers 60 clinics in 27 rural communities with primary and specialty care services. Reedley is an ideal location for outdoor enthusiasts, being close to Yosemite, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.

Job Summary

Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervise and direct various levels of assigned nursing staff, coordinate care with other disciplines, and use critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.

Education and Experience
  • Preferred:
    Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Preferred:
    Acute care facility experience
Licenses / Certifications (Required)
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS‑BLS OR RQIBLS) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Healthstream Pediatric Advanced Life Support (HS‑PALS) or RQIPALS
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Healthstream Advanced Cardiac Life Support (HS‑ACLS) or RQIACLS
Essential Functions
  • Collect relevant data, analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues, develop a plan, implement interventions, coordinate care delivery, and evaluate progress toward outcomes.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide safe, healing, humane, and caring care and provide learning opportunities.
  • Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
  • Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members.
  • Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
