Medical Assistant - Worksite Wellness

RAMC's Worksite Wellness Department is looking for a Medical Assistant to join the team!

Monday & Thursdays

8:30AM-4:30PM

16 hours per week!

Provides medical assistance in a multi-skilled allied health profession whose practitioners work primarily in an ambulatory setting such as medical office and clinic. The Medical Assistant functions as a member of the health care team and performs clinical procedures as directed/trained by MD or RN.

Graduated from an accredited school where a diploma in Medical Assistant is granted or equivalent education or competencies. BLS Certification required. DOT UDC Certified

BAT Certified

CAOCH Certified (preferred)
NIOSH Spirometry Certified for Silica (preferred)

• Must be able to deal with multiple priorities in a calm way.
• Required decision making and problem solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent time management skills, able to prioritize.
• Resourceful - aware of resources available for use.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and/or switchboard experience.
• Ability to use the following equipment: fax, photocopier, personal computer.
